Trash Pick-Up Schedule and Policy
General Pick-ups are made every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
- Trash must be set out prior to 8:00 a.m. the day of pick-up, but not before 8:00 p.m. the day before.
Recycle Pick-ups are on Wednesday.
- Aluminum cans, plastic & glass bottles & jars should all be placed in the same plastic bag.
- Newspapers are to be tied with twine or placed in a brown paper bag.
Bulk Pick-ups are on Tuesdays.
- Bulk trash must be set at specific curbside areas, so call the CPIV Office for locations.
- Removal of appliances and debris from remodeling work are not included in bulk trash pick-ups.
General Trash Policies
- Trash should be disposed of in properly sealed trash bags.
- Trash cans must be in good condition with secure lids and all trash placed in trashcans must be in
properly sealed plastic bags.
- Trash should be placed outside your door or in the common area closest to your unit.
- Trash will be picked-up the following business day after a holiday.
Dog Policy
- Dogs must be leashed while out of doors.
- Owners are responsible for picking-up after their dogs and properly disposing of their dog's droppings.
- Dogs cannot be kept in the yard (which is condominium property), whether or not the yard is fenced.
Parking Policy:
- Each unit is assigned one parking space.
- Extra spaces are sometimes available for rent at the CPIV Office.
- Parking in "Fire Lanes" and "No Parking" areas is prohibited. Violators are subject to ticketing and towing. - Vehicles without current license plates or that cannot be operated on their own power may not be parked in condominium spaces. Violators are subject to ticketing and towing.
- No vehicular fluids shall disposed of on condominium property.
- Co-Owners are responsible for enforcing exclusive use of their spaces.
- Residents who want to have a car ticketed should call the DC Police at 202.727.1010 or DC Parking Enforcement at 202.541.6060.
- Once a car has been ticketed, any reputable towing company can be called for quick removal.
